Mission
To educate the public about the care and plight of equines and to protect them from abuse and slaughter. Redwings provides permanent sanctuary for equines in need. Each animal is evaluated for their physical, emotional spiritual needs. Once an animal comes to us and makes a friend...they are kept together for the rest of their lives.
Issues
Because Redwings is dedicated to ending the suffering of equines, we are involved in a variety of issues; such as slaughter, Premarin, carriage horses, wild horses &burros, abuse & neglect, care of older equines and injury prevention.
Education
Redwings offers many classes in order to educate the public about the proper care and humane handling of equines. From our "Great Start!" program for those who are considering adding a horse to their family, to our volunteer training, there is a class for everyone.
